With a distinguished career spanning multiple continents, Dr. Amber Wigmore Álvarez has consistently demonstrated her commitment to advancing career services and talent development within the global education ecosystem. Most recently she served as the Chief Talent Officer of Highered, the strategic careers partner of EFMD, working closely with nearly 800 business schools and universities across 92 countries.
Dr. Wigmore Álvarez is widely recognized as a thought leader in the talent industry, with a focus on generating insights and research that have the potential to shape the future of work. She was instrumental in leading Highered's global partnership with Coursera, a groundbreaking employability upskilling initiative.
Prior to her role at Highered, Dr. Wigmore Álvarez held the position of Executive Director of Talent & Careers at IE Business School and IE University in Spain, where she managed a team of over 40 talent professionals serving thousands of students, alumni, and corporate partners. Her dedication to excellence in education has been recognized with the "Award for Teaching Excellence" at IE Business School.
